Timber Calculator for Android

Effective 6 October 2026 · Last updated 6 October 2026

The short version

Timber Calculator collects nothing. It has no account, no advertising and no analytics, and it is installed without permission to use the internet at all — so your measurements, customers, rates and bills cannot leave your phone by way of this app. Nothing you type is ever sent to the developer.

1Information the app collects

None. The developer of Timber Calculator receives no personal information, no usage statistics, no crash reports, no device identifiers and no advertising identifiers from this app, because the app has no ability to transmit them.

Verifiable in the app itself

Timber Calculator declares no INTERNET permission in its Android manifest. Android enforces this at the operating-system level: an app without that permission cannot open a network connection, whatever its code attempts. You can confirm this on the app's Google Play listing under App info → Permissions, which shows No permissions required.

2Information kept on your device

So that the app is useful between sessions, the following is saved in a private database and settings file inside the app's own storage area on your phone, where no other app can read it:

This information belongs to you. It is never transmitted anywhere by the app. Uninstalling Timber Calculator deletes all of it permanently.

3Backups made by your phone

Android itself offers an automatic backup feature. If you have it switched on in your device settings, Android may copy this app's database and settings into your own Google account, and may restore them when you set up a new phone. This is a function of Android and Google, not of Timber Calculator, and the developer has no access to those backups and cannot read them.

You can turn it off for every app on your device, or for this app alone, under Settings → Google → Backup. Google's handling of that data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

4Bills you choose to share

When you tap Send PDF, the app writes the bill as a PDF file into its own temporary storage and hands it to Android's share sheet. You then pick where it goes — WhatsApp, email, a printer, a file manager, or anywhere else.

Nothing is shared until you choose to share it, and the app plays no part in what happens afterwards. Once the file reaches another app, that app's own privacy policy applies to it.

5What the app does not do

6Children

Timber Calculator is a tool for timber trading and saw-milling, intended for business use by adults. It is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone, children included.

7Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the Indian Digital Personal Data Protection Act give you rights to see, correct, export and erase personal data that a company holds about you. The developer of Timber Calculator holds no data about you, so there is nothing to request, correct or delete.

The data inside the app stays under your control at all times: you can edit or delete any document within the app, and uninstalling it removes everything.

8Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app changes how information is handled, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top of this page will change with it. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes on Google Play.
